Signs of gentrification are everywhere. Urban gentrification is affecting cities across the country. Rents go up, homes are bulldozed and replaced with luxury condos. Trendy and expensive restaurants replace local restaurants featuring food at affordable prices. Tight communities and neighborhoods are torn apart.
